Using eBay Escrow Services

June 7, 2011

If you buy or sell expensive items on eBay, you need to acknowledge about the available escrow services. An escrow service is projected to protect customers and sellers from being cheated. The funds for the sale go to the escrow service, and then the seller sends the item to the customer. When the item has been received, the funds are issued from the escrow service to the seller.

In a few cases, both the item and the funds carry out the escrow service, and the service makes sure that the purchaser receives the item, and the seller gets the money. There is a low bung for the service, and it’s typically a taped percentage of the sale price. It’s up to the customer and seller to choose who will pay the bungs. Frequently, the fees are divided between the customer and seller.

If you prefer to apply an escrow service, there is solely one service that eBay recommends, and they back that service up. This service is Escrow.com. Across the years, there have been numerous ‘look-alike’ escrow services, practicing variants of the escrow domain name, but they have proven to be less than respectable companies. Be sure you apply the services of escrow for the leading protection.
