The Sneaker Ball

You might have been to numerous balls in your lifetime, specified Christmas Balls, Spring Balls, and even Debutante Balls, but if you have not been to the Sneaker Ball in Aspen, Colorado, you’re dropping out on whole the fun! It called ‘Aspen’s Greatest Party, the Sneaker Ball is applied every year at the St. Regis Hotel on East Dean Street every March.

Back in 1986, the very initiative Sneaker Ball was held by Al Gross and David Nauss of Paine Weber. Inc in Boston. The party was a celebration of Reebok parts trading on the stock exchange for the very beginning time. This tuxedo event was practically like some other balls , but everybody was wearing Reeboks, and the first Sneaker Ball was born.

The next year, Al Gross selected that this was the sort of party who people actually wished, but rather than being fixed to white Reeboks,the theme would be for the invitees to wear formal robes and tuxes, with ornamented tennis shoes. The party was moved to Aspen, where people know how to party, and thousands of people from everywhere in the world fly into Aspen to attend.

Among the best thing’s invitees like around the Sneaker Ball is that it’s for a fine cause. All the proceeds went to Grass Roots, which is a platform projected to assist inner-city children. These children are taken to Aspen to undergo what life outer the city is. A lot of these children do not even realize that places like Aspen actually exist. Tickets price $125 per individual, which is not too bad thinking that the money is for a beneficial cause.

People from various scopes go to the Sneaker Ball annually. Notable people are there, notorious people, and people who are neither famed nor ill-famed attend, and everybody has a tremendous time. The party gets rolling at approximately 9:30pm and finishes about 1:30am, succeeded by numerous ‘after parties’ in respective locations throughout Aspen.

If you have been ever hot to go to among those glitzy ‘Hollywood type’ parties, here is your opportunity! You’ll rub elbows with the famed, flaunt your custom planned sneakers along with your elegant wear, and dancing the night away, and all for a really good cause.

This is an event that sells up quick. Contact the Chamber of Commerce in Aspen to check when the Sneaker Ball is scheduled, and buy your tickets immediately. Likewise, find out with the several hotels and lodges to ask around packet deals and have your bookings arrange in front everything is sold out!
