The career aptitude test is a favourite issue of a lot of kid’s show, in which the primary characters take a test to see what they’re cut out for as adults. Generally, the test will provide them with a result which is entirely unsuited with who they are, but in an effort to accept fate, they will try to change themselves and fail miserably. Then a wise teacher figure will step in and tell them that a test Is not everything and cannot tell them who they are. What they prefer to be when they grow up is up to them and what they would like to do. Then the main characters will see the light and get back to their previous foolish ways.
Now, the career aptitude test as it is presented in children’s shows are a little overdone, intentionally organized to create results that are instantly antagonistic to the personalities of the show’s characters.
Nonetheless, the sentiment behind this really especial episode is not so inexact. Realizing that you should do want you prefer to do and not what other people say you should do is a really crucial message to think of that people frequently blank out. We live in a world full of expectations, burdens and limits, but at the same time it’s a world of assets and opportunities. Is this contradictory? Yes and no. What matters is what you want. The career aptitude test can represent a few paths to you, but it is up to you to choose which career path to take.
Of course, you have got to take a few things into consideration. Putting effort into anything takes time and money. Do you have those resources to spare? Certain paths perhaps out of reach because of these constraints. However, only because these paths are blocked off now does not mean that they will not open up later. So while considering practicalities like your career aptitude test results and your resources, make your choice and make it a choice you will not regret.
