The basic sauces for these are butter and hot sauce, both of which should have no carbs. Chicken is okay on a low carb plan, so mixing them is a keen idea. You can have them with celery and bleu cheese too. You can also order a salad to go with it, and you have a nifty low carb meal that you can get nearly anyplace. Just remember to stand back from any wing sauce like BBQ that could have sugar added. Stick with sauces that you know have zero sugar, and ask to make sure.

As with the wing sauce, be sure there are no sugars added to the meats. A few marinate them or inject them with sugar for the some-odd reasons, which means you’re getting additional carbs in there than you want. Remember that you really cannot have whatever typical gravies while you’re out. These always have either flour or corn starch, which are both not good for a low carb plan. If you are low carb eating out and thinking of a dish that has a sauce of some type, ask the waiter or waitress to catch out what is in the sauce. Some are made with cream or with wine, which could be okay for you depending upon your preferred low carb plan. Think about eating out while low carbing as always asking questions when trying a dish for the first time.
You may assume that some places are totally out of the question when low carb eating out, but that isn’t necessarily true. The Olive Garden is mostly about pastas, but you can actually discover some low carb options there. Even if you think a place is out of the question, give them a try anyway, you may discover otherwise. You can always leave if you simply can’t find something you like. Then there are the obvious ones like Red Lobster and Outback Steakhouse that is always going to have something, just be sure they hold the rub on the meats, and you should be okay.
